We had a great time travelling around the Northern Lake District, Galloway and Yorkshire Dales in Winnie. Despite being a far larger vehicle ( and manual gearbox) than I'm accustomed to I found Winnie easy to drive and manoeuvre. Top tip; take a good quality padded mattress topper/protector for a really comfy sleep.

Recently hired the camper van for a long weekend had a great time Stephen was very helpful all through the process and worked round my needs for picking up and dropping off. Very well priced and a very nice tidy van definitely won’t be camping again as long as this campers available.

Winnie is a superb camper, well laid out, very well equipped, drove great and was a pleasure to stay in, even had LPG heating when not on hook up. Stephen was a pleasure to deal with.

Took Winnie to the Sci-fi Scarborough weekend and stayed at the C&C site near Scalby Mills. Everything went well except for the weather, but the van and the site performed very well.

Absolutely loved our holiday in Winnie. Everything is in there except for bedding. Was so nice to just arrive at the campsite and within minutes be sat outside having a cuppa. The ease of hiring it was great. Stephen was so helpful with everything.

Hired the camper for a last minute weekend get away, it was easy to collect and drop off we was 2 adults and 1 teenager we found the camper to be enough for us for the weekend it was very well stocked up with everything you would expect and more we also used the awning which was really easy to put up and that also came with everything you need like ground sheets camp chairs etc
Would most definitely rent this again and highly recommend this camper and Stephen was very helpful from start to finish

Stephen made the whole experience simple, he made booking easy, and included bucket loads of information in his emails, including discounts for C&CC sites. As for Winnie, she was great, and Stephen included all the kit you would need. We visited Barnard Castle, Bamburgh Castle and Kielder. Would thoroughly recommend Pyeman if you want a taste of vanlife

Winnie was very well equipped; pop up tent, chairs, outdoor rug all supplied. Toilet and shower is great. Kitchen has all the implements required and crockery etc. Use of solar panel to heat water and keep fridge running with no electric hook up was a real bonus. Winnie is a good size for driving and easy to drive. Only downside is the size of the bed, at 6 foot 2 bed was too small to fit sleep comfortably.

Great Camper van with every amenity. The extra electric heaters were very useful when on a hook up. The very large double bed was very comfortable and a good size fridge was great for all the fresh food. Highly recommended

Collected Winnie at the agreed date and time and comprehensive run through of operation before setting off on our adventure up to Scotland to do the NC500. Sat nav was invaluable on the first day when the motorway shut and a diversion was required - all included in the cost of hire.
Winnie was comfortable, warm and reliable and we had the most amazing holiday. Many thanks to Pyeman campers - would thoroughly recommend and already planning where to go next time!

Cracking Van, I hired it for 3 days. Stephen's attention to detail was great and was contactable throughout our holiday if we needed him. He also allowed me to keep my car at the collection point which was very convenient. No issues at all, I would highly recommend. I hope to be able to do something similar in the future. Definitely deserves the 5 star review. Thanks for the great accommodation

Winnie was perfect for a flexible get away in the Highlands, with all of the amenities on board we weren’t restricted to campsites and opted to sleep wild for a couple of nights. The beds are a great size. And after only driving an automatic for the last 3-4 years I found driving Winnie really straight forward. Communication was very thorough. We got a really good run through of how to operate everything. I would definitely like to hire Winnie again.

We hired Stephen's camper for a week and absolutely love it! Stephen was really accommodating and provided a detailed walk through of the camper. This was our first time in a camper and he showed us how everything worked on the van. The van is what you would expect from a new professionally converted camper van - great layout, very economical and comes with everything you need for a great trip.

We had an absolutely brilliant time touring Anglesey and North Wales in Winnie. Sat having a cuppa 5 minutes after arriving at the campsite. My husband said it was great to drive (and he hates driving) A little home from home. Will definitely be back.

We rented a campervan during 10 days. Stephen has been very attentive. the campervan is very well equipped and had everything you need to cook, eat, etc. Any questions that arose during the trip were answered in a few minutes. We travelled through the Scottish Highlands and the weather was very good. I would recommend reserving campsites in advance as June and July seem like very busy months. It is a journey that we will never forget. I would recommend Pyeman Campers to anyone.

We had a great trip to Cornwall in Esther! Communication with Stephen was excellent from initial enquiry to returning the vehicle. She has everything you need including shower. We were also able to pop bikes on the bike rack. We were a family of 4 and one of ours is an older teenager, so it was a bit of a squeeze for sleeping but we managed! I think for 2 young children it would be better or perfect for a couple. It was our first trip in a Motorhome so we didn’t want to be driving a large vehicle - perfect for beginners :) Really recommend!

Excellent compact camper. Perfect for a couple. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay in the Yorkshire Dales. It had everything we needed. Easy to drive and Stephen was very helpful during pickup and answering any questions we had during the stay.
Shower was hot and very useful. Plenty of room for cooking etc.

The second time I have hired Esther and again excellent Stephen is so accommodating and Esther has every thing you need. She is getting to know the festival I go to now. I was on my own last year but this year had my friend and 17 year old son and we had ample space for us all. From initial contact Stephen was very helpful and informative. He gave a good explanation of how things worked on Esther and sent us off with a very comprehensive folder, adding to call him if we needed further instructions on anything. Esther is very well kitted out and drove like a dream. The only way we could have bettered our experience was if our schedule had alllowed, we could have booked her for longer. We would love to hire Esther again for another trip in the future. All in all we had a great time! Thank you Stephen

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday in Esther visiting Devon and Cornwall. Myself, my husband and our 9 month old daughter all loved the motorhome - super clean, very well equipped with all the mod cons you would want and surprisingly comfy (I was a bit apprehensive about the bed situation but need not have worried!). Esther was easy to drive and operate and we greatly enjoyed sitting out in the sun each evening under the awning eating our dinner cooked in the motorhome with a glass of wine.
Stephen could not have been more friendly and helpful; taking time to show us round the motorhome, fully communicating to us before the hire and checking in with us. I could not recommend Esther anymore; it’s such a great way to travel around the country on a holiday.

I had a fabulous long weekend at Bearded Theory festival in May and couldn't fault Esther or the service I got it was amazing. Everything I could want and more. I will never use a caravan or rent again. Roll on next year.
